CUWO (Caring and Uplifting Widows and Orphans Organization – RC:15509) was founded in 2000, at Kubwa Bwari, FCT, Abuja as a child born of necessity to meet the needs of Widows and Orphans who are going through life challenges due to circumstances fueled by unforeseen factors.

These people have been left on the street and left dejected to die in harsh and unfavorable conditions by friends, government and relatives, and at such will pose pain and dangers to our society. Hence CUWO NGO began to liaise with individuals, government, and other agencies to find proper solutions to curb the situation

OUR VISION

To create an enablement where Widows and Orphans will become self-reliant, independent and free fro all forms of lack and limitations, thereby impacting their families, society and the world at large.

OUR MISSION

~ To strengthen, educate, engage and liberate the widows through various training to become self-reliant.

~ To provide a platform to help and empower widows and their children.

~ Also, we will provide help to children in orphanages and less privilege homes in the society.
